Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are upcoming 2022 role-playing video games (RPGs) developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch.
Announced in February 2022, they are the first installments in the ninth generation of the Pokémon video game series and are set to be released on 18 November 2022.
Scarlet and Violet are set to have open worlds which include both urban areas and open wilderness without borders between the two, unlike previous installments in the Pokémon series.
Battles take place directly in the overworld instead of being separated like previous games (with the exception of Pokémon Legends: Arceus).
The games introduce three new starter Pokémon: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly; and two new legendary Pokémon: Koraidon and Miraidon.
To assist in travel, Koraidon, Miraidon, and another Pokémon, Cyclizar, can be used to traverse the environment.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a 2022 platform video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch.
It is the thirteenth mainline installment in the Kirby series, as well as the first game in the series in full 3D, excluding spin-offs.
The player controls Kirby in an adventure through the titular forgotten land called the New World to rescue Waddle Dees kidnapped by the ferocious Beast Pack.
To complete each stage to save the Waddle Dees, Kirby can use a wide range of copy abilities to help battle enemies and progress.

Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3 is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch.
The game was released on 9 September 2022 and received favorable reviews from critics.
Players choose to be either an "Inkling" or "Octoling '' as their player character.
Both wield weaponry that shoots colored ink.
Weapons are diverse in ability and imagery, with most resembling household objects.
For example, Rollers are large paint rollers that can cover large amounts of area in ink but are generally limited to close-range combat.
At the same time, Chargers are sniper rifle-like weapons with a long range for sniping opponents but are less effective at painting the ground.
Splatoon 3 expands upon this by adding new main and special weapons to the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch.
It is the fourth installment of the open-world Xenoblade Chronicles franchise, itself a part of the larger Xeno metaseries.
The game takes place in Aionios, where two warring nations, Keves and Agnus, engage in perpetual war with soldiers with ten-year lifespans.
The story follows Noah and his two childhood friends, Lanz and Eunie from Keves, and Mio and her two fellow servicemen Taion and Sena from Agnus, who all gain a mysterious power and decide to cooperate to find safety.
Through this journey, they uncover the mystery behind this perpetual war and the nature of their world.

Mario Battle League is a five versus five soccer video game.
The game shies away from realism, in favor of chaotic, over-the-top gameplay.
The game maintains the main premise of the sport, where players maneuver players around a field in efforts to pass and shoot a ball into a goal to score points, with the team with the most points at the end of a game winning the game.

Triangle Strategy is a 2022 tactical role-playing game co-developed by Square Enix and Artdink for Nintendo Switch.
The game was published by Square Enix in Japan and Nintendo internationally for the Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022.
Triangle Strategy is a turn-based tactical role-playing game in the vein of Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics.
The player takes turns moving characters from their party across a grid-based playing field in which computer-controlled opponents must be attacked and defeated.
Each character has unique attributes and a set movement range per turn, as well as a number of special attacks and skills that consume a limited but rechargeable pool of Tactical Points per character.
During the course of the campaign, leveling up characters by using them in battle will increase their attributes and unlock new special attacks and skills, and players can also upgrade individual attributes and their characters' class to make them more effective in combat.
